How billing works
What’s an “organization”?
An organization is your team’s Conduit space. It’s the boundary around your member roster, vendor connections, audit log, and brand. Each organization gets one bill. Resellers (MSPs operating on behalf of multiple customer organizations) get a parent-organization that owns child customer-organizations; each child has its own bill.
What counts as a billable seat?
Every team member is a seat, humans and AI agents alike. Human seats bill from seat 1. Your first 2 AI agent seats are free — additional agents bill at the same $39/seat rate as humans. One flat monthly total per organization.
The formula
Monthly total = $0 + $39 × billable seats. Every human seat bills from seat 1 — your first 2 AI agent seats are free, additional agents bill at the same $39 rate.
Examples
- Solo MSP technician, 1 AI agent: $0 + $39 × 1 = $39/mo (1 free agent seat)
- 3-person MSP team, 2 AI agents: $0 + $39 × 3 = $117/mo (both agent seats free)
- 10-person MSP, 5 AI agents: $0 + $39 × 13 = $507/mo (2 agent seats free, 3 billed)

Common questions
Is there a usage cap or per-request meter?
No. Conduit doesn’t bill per API call. You pay a flat monthly per organization plus per seat, and you can issue as many MCP requests as your team needs. We do apply a per-user rate ceiling (5,000 requests / hour) as infrastructure protection, which doesn’t affect billing.
Can I connect the same tool multiple times?
Yes. You can connect multiple instances of the same tool. For example, two Autotask instances for two different PSA accounts, or three separate Datto RMM environments. There’s no limit on the number of connections per organization.
Are AI agents billed differently from human users?
Human seats bill from seat 1. Every organization's first 2 AI agent seats are free — additional agent seats bill at the same $39/seat rate as humans.
Is my vendor credential data secure?
Yes. All vendor API credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. They’re decrypted only at request time and never returned to the client. Each organization’s credentials are isolated. Other organizations cannot access them.
What AI tools work with Conduit?
Conduit works with any MCP-capable AI tool, including Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, and more. Your Conduit plan is completely separate from any AI subscription you already have.
